Same! I’ve noticed that over sleeping (more than 9hours or so) is what makes me groggy and lethargic and wanting to sleep all day. Which never made sense to me cuz u would think a well rested person would have extra energy but it’s the complete opposite. Also stress, depression, and boredom are big culprits too. But I feel ya! Being tired all the time is one of the biggest struggles one can have

They should’ve tested EVERY female in the area including Mrs Broddus herself! Idk why they didn’t 🤷♀️

@nathalie_desrosiers That’s the only theory that makes sense to me! Cuz if the watcher was real, the old owners and the new ones (who came after the Broddus’s) would’ve received letters too! Why would they single out this family and none of the other owners? 🧐

I recently heard of this really rare condition (can’t remember the. name) but u constantly feel hungry no matter how full u are, you’ll literally eat till u throw up then repeat the process. I think he had that along with hyperthyroidism and possibly other conditions to add to it. What’s unusual to me is how big his mouth & throat were.. Swallowing a WHOLE apple?!!? Wtf?!?! That is crazy af!!!

That made me so angry that she didn’t get charged for ANYTHING!!! Not only was she sleeping with an underage boy, but she kept him in a tiny little living space with no contact with the outside world!!! And this was before social media and the internet, so he had ZERO human contact other than her. Imagine going 10 years like that and (I don’t think) he even left the house either! Plus the free labor- That’s literally enslavement! I have no idea why he agreed to it, I’m guessing she convinced him she would leave her husband one day 🤷♀️ Idk, but not only that, her poor husband too! Not only was she having an affair but using his money to support another human being without his knowledge and allowing him to think he was going crazy and whatnot!🤦♀️ What she did to both of them was sooo AWFUL and she’s such a horrible person!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if she told Otto to kill him if he ever started to act “out of control” and painted the picture that he was abusive and dangerous. Then she waited for a night where he was drinking and already in a bad mood so she could say all the things she knew would push his buttons and get a reaction out of him. That way if things ever went south with otto, she could always maintain the story of self defense without worrying about him ratting her out later. I think it was her plan from the beginning to get otto to shoot him and make him think he did the right thing🙄

I feel like a lot of murderers will purposely leave random weird ‘clues’ to throw off investigators and/or to get their story out there. Weird mysterious stories like this always make headlines, which a lot of killers love to see. This man here prolly didn’t even smoke, and they prolly took his ID (giving the illusion he committed suicide and doesn’t want it known to the public), and ripped the tags off to better conceal his identity. Idk just my guess, I know most murderers don’t wanna get caught so they’ll leave all these weird “clues” to make things seem like something their not.. 🤷♀️

I wouldn’t be surprised if Dolly told Otto to shoot her husband if he ever started to act “out of control” and painted the picture that he was abusive and dangerous. Then she waited for a night where he was drinking and already in a bad mood so she could say all the things she knew would push his buttons and get a reaction out of him. It’s obvious that Otto was easily manipulated (or he wouldn’t have lived in their attic for 10yrs), so she prolly convinced him that he was ‘so dangerous’ that Otto needs to shoot him if he ever started raising his voice, and sadly he believed her. I think she didn’t wanna shoot him herself cuz if things ever went south with otto down the road he could rat her out; and if he ever confessed, she could still maintain the story of self defense. I think it was prolly her plan from the beginning to get otto to shoot him and make him think he did the right thing🙄

No one ever considered the possibility that the children ran away on their own? Maybe they were dealing with abuse or neglect and ran off to go live with someone else, then started the fire to make everyone think they were dead. It would explain the missing ladder, compromised trucks, and all the phone lines being cut, plus the strangeness of the curtains not being shut on time and the door unlocked, etc. I also thought it was strange that none of the kids tried escaping out of the window if they were truly burning alive. And it makes sense why there was reported sightings of them with another family (could be grandparents, aunts/uncles, or someone else who was willing to adopt 4 kids). It just doesn’t make sense for a salesmen to burn a house down cuz he got turned down. Salesmen are VERY used to being told no- so of all the ppl who told u no, why single this one family out? And why kidnap 5 kids too? It’s hard enough to kidnap 1, how would he have managed to get 5 without making noise or drawing any suspicion? It sounds like one of the kids made up that story about him threatening to burn the house down to draw suspicion away from them and make everyone think it was ‘a random angry salesmen’ who burned the house down. Idk just my thoughts 🤷♀️

Anything that can’t be proven or disproven has the potential to be real or fake. Just like aliens and the paranormal- if we can’t prove it’s real, it may be fake. And if we can’t prove it’s fake, it might be real. No one can definitively prove either one, at least not yet!

They should’ve tested every female who lives in the area, including Mrs Broddus herself! That surely would’ve solved the case right? I swear, it seems like police are getting lazier and lazier every year...🙄

Another theory is that the 22yr old kidnapped the other 4 to kill them then ran off. It would be easy for him to convince them to sneak out quietly so they can ‘go somewhere fun’. But that really lacks a motive as to why he would do that and why single out those particular siblings? Or maybe he didn’t kill them, but sold them off and used the money to buy himself a house and start a new life 🧐

I’ve already done some unforgivable things while sleepwalking: -Peed on the floor cuz I couldn’t ‘find the toilet’ -Stripped naked in the kitchen at an in laws home -Tried burning my house down -Ran around the house with a knife saying I’m gonna kill someone... Hearing this shit is TERRIFYING!!! They need to invent something to stop sleepwalkers from committing dangerous or violent acts. I’m shocked they haven’t came up with ANYTHING yet... 😭
