@irock2403 Who made you the Judge and the Jury?! .. They don't make sense to you, so don't watch them. I don't either. But what's with the display of naked superiority complex?? .. You are not going to decide what's junk for everyone who watches Bollywood and that includes shit ton of people outside India. The "junk" will make is it to the farthest corners of the world into countries like Morocco where they will literally do PhDs on Indian Cinema even if they don't understand the language while a lot of movies recognized by elites while sipping wine won't make past a few drawing rooms. So, express whatever your opinions are and choose whatever you like to watch, just don't be the person who sits on judgement think he/she knows the best.

Not sure why do Indians need to seek validation at Cannes. I am all for celebrating recognition of an Indian movie at Cannes but I think "hoping" that another Indian movie gets recognized at Cannes is symptomatic of worship the west mentality.
