@subhrajitgupta5535 " Liberal Democracy is the highest form of democracy. " -True. But one should question if a country like India can afford to be a liberal democracy and not mindlessly argue in it's favour just because the west has done it. The West are rich countries constructed, in case of erurope, one the basis of one language-one religion-one enemy, and in case of north america by wiping out entire indegeous populations and install a more homogneous population. The europe was all very liberal until migrant population reached 5%. Now europeans are voting in right wing governments. Liberalism is going out the window. What would they do if they were as diverse and poor as India? On the other hand, there are no electoral democracies at India's per capita. So, use your brain and don't try to copy your much older and richer neighbour. That wouldn't be very smart.

@subhrajitgupta5535 "Elections are a necessary condition for democracy, not a sufficient one. Sufficient condition for democracy is Liberty, freedom, rights of the people and elections" - All this is copy paste gyan based on theories found in the west. Zero thought has gone into understanding the reasons behind those definitions and the minimum viable conditions under which these are applicable. A lot of it is not applicable in Indian context.
