  3.  @legendaryhound5261  There is only one constant between how this place looks, Aceh in Indonesia looks, how Iran looked before 1979 vs after, how ISIS (who all come from different culture) controlled areas look and even people like Anjem Chaudry in UK look. That constant isn't culture. It's religion. So stop the BS. Just because you are born into the religion and can't see (or refuse to see) the problem it causes doesn't mean everyone else won't be able to see it. The argument that it's "cultural values" is easily the stupidest among all the other arguments the apologists like to use.

  5. Women empowerment is the key to a community's success. Which is exactly the reason why every religion expressly tries to control women. Educated women are a threat to the vested interests which propagate and use religion as a tool of control.
