"Why convert electricity to hydrogen? Is hydrogen easier to transmit? Electric vehicles have significantly higher efficiency compared to fuel cells." - Great work copy pasting Elon Musk's arguments here. But sadly electric vehicles can't solve all the transport requirements especially when it comes to long distance travel (cargo trucks & ships). And it's not like switching to EVs don't come with their own problems starting with Lithium dependence. Also, the hydrogen switch is required so that cement, steel and other industries can be green as well.
