@Rahul Chanana New Laundry is subscription based journalism too. But it's serving it a ideology not it's subscribers.

@amitpradhan5530 Yes.

@Rahul Chanana True. But that just means the problem of getting unbiased news still persists if the user (even after being a paid customer) has to use his/her judgement to decide which news producer is "good" & which is "bad". Wasn't that the problem in the first place?

@Rahul Chanana Yes. My point was "It shows the difference between subscription based journalism and ad-based journalism." isn't very accurate. Subscription based Journalism can still be just as bad (deliberately propagating an ideological narrative) as ad-based Journalism and because one paid for the subscription based journalism, one is highly likely to believe it (cause there is an implicit assumption that it's serving the subscriber). Makes it more dangerous. Not sure how this problem can be solved. I absolutely understand "If you don't pay for the product, then you are the product" concept. Which is exactly why I also like the idea of "paying for better governance".

@akshay_wakodikar That's because they live in an ideological bubble. They don't really understand India's problems and then whenever there is a new law that is passed or a protest that is started, they consult their trusted source (all of whom have an ideological bias) to form their opinion. That's why they are opposing this bill. It was expected.

@sammudada6225 Nope. I am a Tax Payer who funds the MSP. Also, someone who understands the diff. bet. Politics & Policy based on Economics. I have introduced myself. Please introduce yourself.

@sammudada6225 And you loose you case because of your superficial Understanding of economics & business.

@sammudada6225 Bihar's Agricultural Economy has been seeing 2 times or 3 times growth when compared to Punjab in the last 50 years. Bihar never benefited much from MSP anyway. So, I don't really know what the fuck you are talking about. Your understanding is based on a sample size of one (your experience). That's not how policies are made. If you are a tax payer then you should be better informed how your money is being used.

@sammudada6225 I am talking about rate of growth not the current Economic state, you moron. Look at the base that they started from. If you don't get this simple funda, I don't think you can understand Agri Economics. No wonder, your arguments are so fucking stupid. Why would you talk about tax levied on Oil, when I am talking about use of Tax rather than collection of it?
