@siddharthmanwani6065 I need to revisit what exactly happened then, but two things I a very sure about, (1) Syrian destablisation was the result of the larger trend of Arab Spring. Countries like Egypt successfully transitioned into democracies by over throwing Mubarak. Libiya destabilised after over throwing Gaddafi and countries like Syria couldn't over throw Assad cause he was willing to use much more brutal measures to suppress the protest, even kill gun down his own citizens. Now, US may have been involved covertly, trying to encourage and support pro-democracy activists etc, but it wasn't involved physically until the Syria destabilized. (2) "So to overthrow Assad the US literally supported terror groups like AlQaeda and ISIS." - This is very hard to believe. The vacuum in Syrian territory which Assad couldn't control after the destabilization led to ISIS occupying territory and growing. US literally armed Kurdish rebels to fight ISIS. turkey wasn't happy about it). You seem to be suggesting exactly the opposite. The narrative that Global Islamists like to push is that since west is responsible for the mess in the middle east, west should let refugees come in. That's absolute bullshit cause middle eastern powers are very much responsible or a lot of destabilization but they take in zero refugees.
