Comments by "Arun Sar" (@arunsar7893) on "World recognises Modi still most powerful despite severe mishandling of Covid crisis" video.
Exactly. But Jyoti will do anything to make a situation worse than it actually is as long as it hurts Modi. She hates Modi and can't let her political bias affect her Journalism.

@arjunsrandomprojects7803 Decisions would have been better. Crisis would have been controlled better but still it would have been a disaster, of lower proportions offcourse. And hence Public reaction would have remained exactly the same.

@pv5893 Any sane person would know the comment was about the period when China was in lockdown and the corona cases were rising, NOT today. No one knows what happened in China cause they jailed every journalist who reported on Covid. No one even knows what happened to those journalists. And given the authoritarian structure of governance that China has, it would be a shame if China could still not have controlled the pandemic's spread. As for accepting the problems with out own system, I think that's the first thing that the comment did.

@ShivPratapSinghgurgaon "Simply by making advance orders of vaccines from all over the world and also ramping up homegrown sii and bharat boitech capacity, it would have taken at most 20 billion USD , we have 600 billion in foreign reserve and it is miniscule amount even some temples in India would have bigger than that." - Tell that to the Bureaucracy which has been consistently been punished by the CAG for taking preemptive measures. I agree with the measure. And I think the establishment knows this. But the wheels in Bureaucracy don't turn unless there is "cover of action".

@Valkyri3Z " Govt did not wait for CAG to clear Rafale deal." - That was political, initiated by the previous govt. in power and debated in parliament, not bureaucratic. Tell me, if you were a bureaucrat who had to place the order for vaccines would you have made sure that you took time to show that you negotiated the best price possible or would you have gone ahead and just placed an advance order of 20 Billion USD for vaccines ?? What would you have to show when the CAG asked you why you did that?? .. You obviously can describe a hypothetical situation but that won't help you stay out of Jail. "Blaming CAG is very silly. " - I am not blaming the CAG. I am blaming the system. Indian is full of activists ready derail anything and everything that the govt. does. (No matter which party is in power). First, a RTI would have been filed. Followed by really motivated twitter activists retweeting it. Followed by that a PIL would have been filed. The superme court would ask the CAG to investigate and and CAG would screw the bureaucrat who took the decision. This isn't a new movie. People in the govt. have seen this a thousand times. That's why they never take decisions. Better not to take decisions rather than take one and get screwed for it.

@HimanshuMishra-ph9pd "I think some common sense would have definitely prevailed like stopping campaigning in Bengal and canceling the Kumbh to reduce the numbers. " - Sure. But the response to the Crisis would still have been inadequate.
