"DefCon 7" is a public conference in Las Vegas with a vast number of subjects, most of them computers and electronics. The hacking community is strongly represented. "DefCon 2" is one of the USA's DEFense CONdition levels. DefCon 5 is at peace; DefCon 1 is all-out nuclear war.
