  2.  @kimdavis5631  I had full service history on an old car u recently sold. Decided to service it myself,went to my local parts store with what's needed,i wrote on the paperwork/receipt the miles 7 date when i did the oil and filter,plugs,filter etc..... i did that for 8 yrs. New owner liked that and purchased it,as the car idled,ran & drove perfect! It was a 2002 Yaris 1.3L auto with 90,000m here in the UK. I still speak to the new owner,it passed it's MOT (yearly inspection) last month. I told him it would pass the next MOT.

  3.  @kimdavis5631  Saw a video where an owner didn't change the plugs since new. Got 75,000m,engine light came on,running rough,scanned it.....was the coil! So new coil,1hr labour & tax,owner decided to allowed 4x new plugs,as they were v.bad. Gotta be over $200 easy. Just cause of not doing 4x plugs,worth $20. Insane!

  4.  @kimdavis5631  Diag was with ignition no.4 & swapped it to no.2 then scanned it, issue code went to no.2 coil.....it was the coil. If plugs isn't changed at that miles, the coil or coils will screw up. So you're paying for it to be scanned, parts & labour then tax, for the sake of a set of 4x plugs at 50,000m/4 yrs, madness! Wanna be cheap it'll hurt the pocket! My father never changed his oil filter for 4 yrs, just the oil maybe every 2 yrs if that!, engine failed, never saw that car again lol Money lost for an engine does not compensate for oil & filter change 4 times . Max for 4x oil changes with filters would be £130 in todays money, this was in the late 70's. Sold it for scrap! No brainer.
