Flames don't spew out/blow outwards like that unless it's an EV.

Been in the car trade over 30yrs....you need your head examined going to these places.

Worked for Proton in the late 90's & we only had 1x Satria GTI (@12.38) & 1x Persona coupe (@12.21) in the video in stock for 2yrs.

Sadiq has his own people to vote for him,that's why he's in power for so long,he promises them things and they do get it! Money made for the expansion will go to his "Local neighbours" London will only get worse. London was fallen years ago,

Got a 2025 Yaris 1.3L CVT, £35 road tax & some early models £165 with later models roughly same price (2017 i think). I got 59mpg on a good drive, manual ones with a longer 6th gear ratio as Toyota mentioned, that does 1mpg better i read, never knew an auto or CVT do better MPG than manuals. Did have a 2002 Yaris 1.3L 4speed auto & that was £255 road tax!! With a best of 48mpg. Glad i got a 2015 model.

@shanemcentee9171 Cost! Toyota chains don't need replacing for 100,000 at least! Some last 200,000m + with regular servicing. When Toyota chains need doing it's down to neglect from the owner who may thrash them & put cheap,crap oil in. Imagine the parts & labour to do it then the VAT on top ffs. Just but using better oil & changing it more often ie every at 6,000m or 7,000m MAX. You have fewer issues down the line too!
4
I agree,90's or early 2000's were the best. Changing the oil say 8,000m would make engine last. For the sake of oil,the filter,the parts & labour with the VAT on top it's silly to go further than 10,000m on ANY diesel.....so use decent oil & don't always trust dealers as they DO NOT use the oil they say. Dealers need to make money & the oil dept is where they lie!
4
@samuel56551 Exactly. With cuts in the future too....of course while out homeless,vets & families in dire need get much less help. Don't forget the ave family that struggles just to pay their bills ffs. 2025 will be a v.bad year! We know what's coming & it aint gonna be nice but it needs to happen until things are changed for us not them or the government.
4
But the fines will still be in place 7 i assume the fines going to the government....what a SCAM!
4
But will for drivers going 4mph in a 30 or 40! The stats is what they go for & to please the road safety folks out there.
3
WOW! A grand a pop. Fiestas are suppose to be a cheap transport,glad i drive a Yaris as the chain don't need doing till 200,000m with regular servicing & decent oil, that goes for the chain guides too!
3
Where are LR made now & the engines?
3
Wet belt makes no sense at all, who else has made cars like that? If Toyota did I'd still wait 5 years down the road for any issues for my peace of mind!
3
2yrs/21,000 miles is insane! Even AMSOIL wouldn't advise you to do that! With their oil filter MAYBE but JLR use cheap oil filters,don't care what people think,JLR is there to make money. Where are the engines made anyway?? PLUS who remembers the oil changes BMW said in the early 90's?
2
@michaelperrin2531 🤣🤣🤣
2
@monteceitomoocher Exactly! And we're told not to do it,could we as the public get fines for that? Prob yeah!!
2
@dailyallowance3826 A police force in Scotland i think had some EVs....they got rid of them due to lack of charging stations, they even admitted they didn't think it properly through 😂
2
Heard from my local radio the Chief fighter that was there said that it's NOT an EV but a diesel Range Rover. Not good publicity either way.
2
Agree. RFL for a 2002 Yaris (49MPG) can cost up to £200 a year & a 2002 VW Lupo 1.4L 4sp auto is £270. A 2015 1.3L Yaris with a CVT (58MPG) is £30!
2
Hey Geoff! Have you seen the latest vid by DefinitelyNotAGuru? "Latest UK CAR NEWS | August Bank Holiday Special" - I got a feeling this going to grow! SKIP TO 2.20 because an elderly man had a few weeks left on his car ins after his car failed its MOT. He put it on his drive & didn't use it, the court fined him through a "Single justice procedure" a behind closed doors hearing. This will be massive as they'll use "Paper evidence" to make a ruling! Speeding fines,drive while using a mob,red light jumping etc will be done this way now.
2
Don't ever buy a Nissan,don't ever hand over your cash to dodgy names you can't even pronounce & you believed it'll do 50 mile of range of that age & mileage? That's 3 strikes & you're out!
2
Think about this....when/if EVs take off fairly big ie 2035,won't half the houses on each road have a charger? What'll happen to the power grid? Aint gonna happen!
1
They were to much anyway.
1
@loonaticsrunningtheassylum Remember some years ago (Maybe 10yrs ago) it was in the papers that Police won't come out to someone shoplifting less than £1. And do remember Police wants to ban motorists because learners are on the road incl those who passed....to balance the vehicles on the road!
1
@ln5747 🤣🤣🤣

Has anyone else made "Wet belt" engines? (I could be wrong) but why trust Ford with it, if Toyota did it then you know it will be good. Ford just screws customers & people are still buying Ford! It's a no brainer.
1
Worked for Proton back in the day, we loaned them out to customers as they were free for the day,2 days whatever with free petrol! Had a customer complained he got a 7yr old 1.3L so we loaned him a 2yrs old Proton Persona with a daily fee & had to re-fill the fuel tank.....he wasn't happy! :face-purple-crying::face-purple-crying::face-purple-crying: Free loan car with free petrol with unlimited mileage to rack up yet he decided to pep up! DUMB MISTAKE :hand-orange-covering-eyes:

Unbelievable Geoff 😮

Heard from my local radio the Chief fire fighter that was there said that it's NOT an EV but a diesel Range Rover. Not good publicity either way.
1
Should've serviced them at 12,000m & see how you save on buying engines! Who's crazy enough for a 17,500m service? Oh Ford & herself. 🙆
1
It's a con! Like electric cars....it's not good,you need to look real deep into it with hidden facts people don't realize till you've been told. We're just peasants till we stand up & kick off. France is good at kicking off,they get what they want in the end,England? Too soft!
1
@admiralackbar9307 Spot on!
1
He def did something to your engine. No one opens a door,bonnet or door then reaches like that but only to take something or mess with something....find out what caused the break down fella, i'd be fuming!
1
And we gotta have restricted electric on our homes,even a black out....great mind set 😉
1
No! Oh geez! What sc*m bags.
1
Thought this was a Scotty Kilmer clickbait 😜I v.rarely buy on sites like that & always read reviews on those 2 big selling sites 😏 Plus i look to see if it got a Chinese address at the bottom page EVEN thou it may say "Collection" then the address or "Dispatches from".🙂

Is Sunflower toxic,cause cancer? I only use that specific oil.
1
@grahamhaynes7658 That's so true,
1
Agree, 4 yrs ago i got a 2015 Yaris 1.3L CVT, with 88,000m £5,500 FTSH (Full Toyota Service History). Does 60mpg most trips, usually 55mpg if i aint soft of the right pedal. The 5sp manual Yaris does the same mpg believe it or not.
1
Our government are screwing us over as well as them! They're fining the car industry for not pushing EV's....what a con. It's clearly a con! Watch the latest youtube video from "Videobob Moseley" as his house burnt down due to An "Aiper" rechargeable pool cleaner,it's a Chinese Lithium Ion battery which was on charge when it caught fire. Bob knows many famous people in the music industry,some of his collectable & signed music items were burnt to a crisp. Worth a watch.

100% agree!. Did have a 2002 Yaris 1.3L 4speed auto that was £255 road tax!! With a best of 48mpg. Glad i got a 2015 model,only fill it up every 2 months!
1
The US has many hundreds of VW EVs just sitting there! In China it's in the thousands! China made them to show the world how good they are....all of them rusting away!
1
@badchefi Nope, you watch from crap sources. 🤣 I got reliable info,you really do judge badly & assume real bad. :text-green-game-over:
1
@badchefi Missed the point of my comment 😂 Go back to sleep :yougotthis:
1
@johnelliott9415 When? Not heard.
1
@johnelliott9415 Was this years ago? That was an electric fire issue,the Range Rover prob had the same issue. Electrical fire does happen.
1
@jeremyradford5103 Diesels don't catch fire or continue to be on fire from the video that's out. Looks sneakily like an EV with the flames spewing out like that.
1
No other car maker has done it (I don't think) so why do people think it WOULD work? That's crazy.
1
Suppose it'll classed as "An act of god?"
1
You all are really stupid to fall for this pushing this electric car 🙄🤪
