In the UK 0w16 oil cost £75 for 5L & 0w8 cost nearly £95 😯 That's good oil you've heard. But MOTUL NGEN 0W-8 HYBRID ENGINE OIL LUBRICANT JASO GLV-1 MAZDA TOYOTA 4L (Manufacturer Part Number 111845) cost £42. Would you put £42 oil in your car?

@themotoroilgeek. Advice please - My Toyota Yaris CVT really recommends their genuine Toyota CVT FE but could i use Valvoline CVT fluid for example? Or even maybe a real good name brand CVT fluid? Toyota price is £70 for a 5L bottle here in the UK, good thing my CVT uses 2.2L each drain. 😀

@zilchbupkis3109 No,use a marker pen or a paint pen of some kind which some garages use.

Also my engine has 90,000m & Toyota say 0-20....should i start using 5-30 or maybe 0-30 is it's as it's cheaper than 0-20. Thanks.

Hey guys, over the pond here in the UK. Got a 2015 Yaris 1.3L with nearly 100,000m, Toyota/engine says 0-20 but could i got to 5-20 or even 5/30? I'm using 0-30 atm as it gets cold here in the fall/autumn. Heard using a 30 isn't good for the bearings thou, what's your thought? Thanks.

@Daniel-qe8qe But what about when it gets to 100,000m plus? Just wondering, not making fun as i'm curious. Thanks.

Question - My 2015 Yaris here in the UK says to use 0W20 but my garage uses 5W30 , is that because it's ok for summer use as i had it serviced last month. So using 0W20 for winter time is ok? Does get sort of cold here during Nov- March. Also...thinking out the box here, having a black car make the engine hotter during summer so using 5W30 make sense?

@CL-yp1bs Thank you for the reply. Just some times i use 5W20 in winter here, it's cheaper than 0W20. 5w30 is way cheaper than both of them.
