You really do give us great hints, tips, what to look for, what to do,what not to do etc. Really appreciate your help,Amd. Oh,apparently my 2015 Yaris (UK) has had 3 wheel bearing done, they're weak apparently, front was done some years ago before i purchased it,and very recently i had both rear wheel bearings done. They're weak on them,i researched it,they do roar too, when rev'd up...as my researched also say. But it's a really comfy car, great mpg,got 58mpg coming back from west London to outside N.
London.Effortless drive too, responsive and really smooth. I still keep in touch with the last owner when i sold my 2002 Yaris 1.3L auto....that wasn't as comfy, thou.

WORTH A READ - Here in the UK our government are hitting us with emissions & that's why we're being forced to buy new/newer cars! Newer vehicles has less CO2 i (Grams/per Km) ie g/km) than older ones, in short the higher the km per 100g the more we pay...which is road tax basically, it's what we call it. But it's really called VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) & we pay that per year or 6 months. Now,my old 2002 Yaris 1.3L 4 speed auto is 157g per km & that cost £255 per year, the 6 speed manual is 138g per 100km at £190, so older autos are so expensive to run. My newer Yaris 1.3L CVT is 114g per km & that's £35 per year (Was £30 last year). Now...just heard EVs here are now being charged after April 1st (April fools day i know). READ THE NEW CHARGES NOW! - From 1 April 2025, drivers of electric vehicles will need to pay for VED – road tax for the first time. For most EV drivers, this will be £195 a year, while drivers of new electric cars with a list price that exceeds £40,000 could pay as much as £620 a year. Many Brits buy EVs for the free road tax & they didn't see it coming! You watch EVs sitting at car dealers even with mega discounts!
The 2025 EV road tax changes are as follows:
New zero-emission cars registered on or after 1 April 2025 will be liable to pay the lowest first-year rate of VED (which applies to vehicles with CO2 emissions 1 to 50g/km) currently £10 a year.
From the second year of registration onwards, they will move to the standard rate, which will be £195 a year after 1 April 2025
Zero emission cars first registered between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2025 will also pay the £195 standard rate
The Expensive Car Supplement exemption for electric vehicles will end on 1 April 2025. New zero emission cars registered on or after 1 April will therefore be liable for the Expensive Car Supplement. The Expensive Car Supplement currently applies to cars with a list price exceeding £40,000 for the first five years the standard rate is paid. This will be £425 a year from 1 April 2025, which means EV drivers with an 'expensive car' will pay £620 per year for road tax
Zero and low emission cars first registered between 1 March 2001 and 30 March 2017 currently in Band A will move to the Band B rate, currently £20 a year
Zero-emission vans will move to the rate for petrol and diesel light goods vehicles, currently £335 a year for most vans
Zero-emission motorcycles and tricycles will move to the rate for the smallest engine size, currently £25 a year

Worked for Suzuki UK for many years,we "Waved" (Gave for free) a wiper blade for a customer once,he was a nice bloke. One strange experience was after a service,a customer returns and mentions "Why was i charged for a screen wash top up,my screen wash bottle is always full" told him it was part of the service and the manager gave him a concentrated sachet of screen wash, told him that's all we can do.The guy wasn't trying to scam us,was just a querry/concern.hewent away ok,no issues...Oh yeah! heres another one, another customer got their car in for something, can't remember what for, came in with ZERO fuel/petrol in the tank, mechanic said i can't test drive it as it'll break down...i had to put £5...roughly a gallon of petrol in it,fuel station was just over the road....but i put £3 in it instead of £5 lol I found out after getting fuel, the customer said to staff that i'm not wasting my money and petrol for your road test....the lady customer didn't ran out fuel when i watched her driving over the road. Some customers are strange.

You know the BEST oil flush/engine cleaner i ever used? Back in 2001 i got this thing called ASTAL3000 from the QVC channel for my 1988 Merc 190E with 115,000m, the timing chain could be seen when removing the oil cap & it was real bad & dirty. You gotta drive 500 miles thou for it to work proper as per instructions. It came as a pair of oil flush & fuel cleaner....and boy did it do a fantastic job, timing chain was like new! Drove fantastic too. I also used FORTE on my 2002 Yaris 1.3L auto with 70,000m back in 2008,thing was i drove it home with it in the oil & the fuel additive like for 4 miles! Instructions say do not drive, run for 15mins i think. Half way home the car started to kangaroo & idled poorly, i stopped & put it in neutral for 5 secs then it cleared,it idled better & drove better.....way better! Drove it the rest home & it was fantastic, better throttle & performance, changed the oil in the morning of course. I worked at a garage so purchased the FORTE there as it's hard to get hold off even back then. I mentioned the kangaroo/idle issue to the mechanic he said driving it is even better. Kept & owned the Yaris for a further 14yrs with no issues whatsoever.
