I bought a Keurig and after a month I dumped it in the trash. Not because of the reasons mentioned in the video. Trashed it because the coffee was so horrible. Tried like 6 different brands of pods, all absolutely horrible. Must be because it’s made for the American palate, which is not developed.

@mikesiciliano210 It’s not a 1600s colony. It’s a modified colony. Puerto Rico has never been free since 1493. And since 2016, the Island does not govern themselves. As a colony that it is, in 2016 the US Congress appointed a Manager to run the Island’s finances. The Law even says that this Manager can make any decision it wants without even consulting the Governor of PR. Nobody in PR was consulted about implementing PROMESA, nobody in PR could vote yes/no on the Law. Purest definition of a colony right there. The concept of PR being a colony is recognized by Congress and the Supreme Court.

@mikesiciliano210 Yes a Colony. Not a State, Not Sovereign. There is no other status. The inhabitants have no say on what they want as a sympathy according to the Territorial Clause of the US Constitution. Only Congress has full authority to free, sell, cede, or incorporate its Territories. PR is currently Unincorporated since 1898, and no changes have ever been made to that territorial status.

@SurmaSampo The US Supreme Court, the Executive Office, the UN, have all recognized PR is a Colony. It’s common knowledge. When the US Citizens in PR get to vote for Trump/Kamala, and also have Representation in Congress, then it will no longer be a colony. Or the US can also grant sovereignty to PR which only requires simple majority vote in Congress to do so according to the US Constitution Territorial Clause.
