  6.  james morgan  Ramstein is a dream base. I never used the pool.....but it had a small waterpark . The bx/px is a mall. And there are many other shops from the NATO countries present there. And an airport on base..etc. Kaiserslautern has a mall now...opened after I left. When I say awesome place....I mean the entire surrounding area, and Germany, and Europe.

  12. I lived in Puerto Rico for a few years.... Peanut butter is not used for anything there. Only time I saw something with Peanut butter was in a "limber". Limber is a frozen flavored liquid in a cup. Top sellers are coconut and Crema......but the PB was very tasty.

  14.  @luxan8690  During events like an Air Show, general population is admitted to a specific area of the base. Also as a guest of someone with base access, you can visit the entire base, except the restricted areas.

  16.  @cyzcyt  The only real threat is China...but the paranoia is about us in the USA not being the sole superpower of the world and sole owner of the currency system. Nothing else. Any time these 2 things are threatened, we go to war. Iran Russia NKorea are not threats. These are just bogeymen creations of the US propaganda to keep expanding military budgets and influence in other regions of the world.

  25.  @dennisdiener978  I agree....I don't think we should have any bases in Europe, Japan, Korea. But folks in the USA are programmed to think we are still in the 1940s. And because most are afraid to venture outside of the USA, they have an incorrect perspective of the world outside the USA.

So either Wendover made this a long time ago, and decided to publish now with outdated data....... Or Wendover doesn't know what he is talking about.

  33.  @RaymondHng  Yep...a mess. Some things are nationwide, others aren't. You would think something as important as a voting system would be standardized. We still use 1800s rules in the voting system....like voting on a Tuesday....done because traveling by horse or carriage was slow. That can easily be changed to a weekend or make it a holiday.....to have more voting participation. I am sure it will get more than the current 50% participation rate.

  37.  @robertschnobert9090  100%. I cruise based on the itinerary. Everything else is secondary (ship, cruiseline, cost) I never do an itinerary more than twice. But sometimes even a new Itinerary will have some repeat ports. For example when I did all 4 Carribean routes in late 1990s early 2000s, the Virgin Islands were on 3 of the 4 routes.... Eastern, Western, Southern Caribbean. The Progresso, Rotana, Cozumel route was different.
