The best thing about living in Wyoming is Colorado!!!!!!

@earlystrings1 Nope. Colorado in it's entirety. Shopping, food, entertainment, sports, malls, Rocky Mountains, skiing, an airport, etc etc etc. Everything Wyoming lacks.

I live in Wyoming. It's more like #43.

@MadeInNewYork73 Cost of living is slightly cheaper here in Cheyenne. But I have to go to Colorado for everything, so I guess for me it would be cheaper to live in CO....lol.

@jag92949 Yes that small area of WY is beautiful, but vast majority live on the opposite side of the state. I live in Cheyenne, and its easier for me to visit Garden of the Gods, RMNP and all the sky towns in CO........than going to Tetons, Yellowstone. Medicine Bow is closer......but there is no incentive to go there. I can be at Estes Park faster.....and its 1 million times better.

@chiley3221 Not planning to....lol. Just saying that i have to go to CO for 95% of my needs. Even to get an oil change on one of our cars......there is no MB or BMW service place in the entire Wyoming....lol. My wife and daughters get their hairs done in CO. We buy groceries in CO. Malls, entertainment, dining, airport.....Colorado. Wyoming is pretty worthless to us.

@earlystrings1 I don't have a choice....lol. I have to go to Colorado to survive.

Currently debating between moving to a beachfront Condo in Florida, or to the green lush 4 seasons of Western Washington state. Help!!!! ....I live in Wyoming.....

@bibbo3167 Jobs not on our top 10 list....Wife and I both retire from the Air Force in 2021.

@ES-mc3cc I hear you. But I'm sure a condo has room for us, without having to cut down acres of trees for a new subdivision.

@lorakirk4351 Washington Eastern reminds me too much of Wyoming. Its what Im trying to escape. Nees to at least be able to drive to an ocean.

@ryan011110 Agree. I am not looking into anything south of a line traced from Tampa to Orlando to Port Canaveral. Way too crowded down there.
1
@NickJohnson Definitely. From Seattle, I'm researching at places 45+ minutes away East/West. And to up and down to the Canadian and Oregon Border North/South.

@Lumberjack-fr6ve You are absolutely correct

@therealist3495 All the plain states are better. West of the Mississippi We are only better than NM, AR, OK, and NV.
1
@Lumberjack-fr6ve I'm military....so not side to side with the common WY folk. But cost of living here is very high for the type of jobs available. Mining, cattle, and some oil related companies......and that's about it. I'm glad I live in Cheyenne and can escape to Colorado easily. But the rest of the state is trapped in the little towns they live in.
1
@Rommie26 The higher income jobs are mining related....and those are put in the remote towns. Yes.....entertainment is zero. The most entertainment available is the 1 weeks of rodeo that is celebrated in several towns around the state. And the beautiful scenery is only on the Far west side of the state. Everything else is mostly brown/yellow plains.
