  1. In general, 9 States subsidize the other 41 States. 9 to 10 States contribute more to the Treasury than what they receive in return from the Treasury. 40 to 41 States receive more from the Treasury than what they contribute.

  2.  @dennisheller333  Not sure about Blue/Red States... But these are the States that subsidize the rest... CT , NJ, MA, ND, NY, IL, NH, WA, NE,. California and Colorado contribute/receive equally. The other 39 States are Treasury Dependent.

  3.  @dennisheller333  TX is very close to being even. But all the oil subsidized industries will keep TX dependent for a while.
