Political campaigns need to be limited to like 6 months before election . And no midterms. This nonstop political campaigning surely makes people mentally sick.

@omar90s91 I lived in Germany....and campaigning is only allowed a few months before the elections. For the rest of the time, people live their lives peacefully.....without the 24/7 political drama.

@ameyas7726 It works to some degree in the places that limit campaigning . What you see in the news, social media and internet are pro/con discussions about policies, day to day issues. You don't see 24/7 election coverage like in the US. Our US media has been talking about 2024 since 2016 , and discussing possible candidates. That is just sickening.

@lesroquel Mid terms for local elections in the State would be fine. It doesn't affect the entire country. Congress and Senate need to be moved to 4 years/2 term limit, just like the President. Sanity would return to 'Murica!
