@Deep_Side_Sleep Nope. The regular family buying a house is the victim of the inflated market. The regular family doesn't buy site unseen, don't buy entire subdivisions, don't pay double the asking price voluntarily. BlackRock and hedge fund investors do this.

@Kyle Magnuson Individuals not voluntarily doing this. Only in extreme cases. BlackRock and Hedge Funds were buying anything that had a door. In some cases shown on tv, buying the house, and paying the seller over selling price, enough for the seller to pay cash for their next house.

@Kyle Magnuson Yes....slowing down now for the last 2 weeks. Moratorium was extended, and hedge funds ran out of properties to buy. Some places are still experiencing the price hike....Idaho, Phoenix, still inflated. I moved to the North Bay area of California last December 2020. 4 br Houses I was looking at back then were running at around $500k.......today are going for $650k.
