  8. I moved out of Florida last year but not because of DeSantis. Florida culture is incredibly backwards and it’s very frustrating. But I lived in Fort Walton Beach, which is basically Alabama. Maybe it’s not as abnormal in the real Florida (lower half).

  12. I’m in the military, 20 years so far, and there is absolutely no wokeness going on. We went from DADT to folks openly expressing their sexual preferences. But other than that, the rest has stayed almost the same.

  17.  @allykatt1849  I guess I moved to the wrong part of Florida (I’m originally from Manhattan). I moved to the Panhandle, it’s a whole different world there. I do have many relatives in Orlando/Tampa/Miami and other normal areas of the State. I have lived in 8 States and 6 Countries, the Panhandle has been my worst living experience.
