  1. I’m a Manhattan native and now live in Western Tokyo. Been here 3 months. Our country is so far behind on so many things, it’s embarrassing. US is like 200 years away from reaching civil society status. Europe, Japan and S. Korea reached that stage many decades ago. I also lived in Germany and in Suwon S. Korea.
