  1. They have never had a chance to become a state. Congres has 100% power of making them a state, free, or transfer it to another country. The consent of the inhabitants is not required per US Constitution.

  2. People moving out has increased since this video. Had Hurricane Maria a year after this video, the Fiscal Board appointed by the US, and worsening economy.

  3.  T Hambone  They did not vote for socialistic welfare. It's a Colony...it dependent of their Masters by nature. They can't become Independent because the US Constitution prohibits it. Only Congress has the power to decide their status. It's called an Unincorporated Territory in the US law books and falls under the Supreme Court decision of Insular Cases from 1902-1903.
