I worked IT in a military hospital while in the Air Force. Obviously we monitored every PC, and blocked sites like MySpace, Friendster, FB, all day long. Then in 2009....we were told not to anymore. Later found out that it was because FB was "ours"......meaning DoD. So yes.....since before smartphones, we have had surveillance on all members.
