  3. NCL is not Premium. NCL is at same class as Royal. Premium are Princess, Celebrity, Holland American,Virgin. Disney is super-premium. Then you go into the luxury brands.

  6. It’s funny that I am actually in the market for a puffy jacket to replace the $500 North Face one I bought in 2010. $500 for 13 years is a steal, and the jacket still looks new and current. I just want to buy a new one. I do have several other less puffy ones, I’m just replacing the super puffy.

  7. I used to watch every movie that came out at the theaters, good or bad. This was between 2002-2016. Had some awesome theaters around me, those with restaurants, bars, coffee shop, and delivery to your seat, so it was fun. Then I became more selective with movies, and after covid I’ve only been to the theater once a year just because what’s coming out is not worth my time.

  8. @ In the US, yes it does. People steal a lot on the self checkout. It’s a big problem for retailers.

  11. @pandaangry1267 I live in West Tokyo. Moved here in the summer and cost of living is half of what it cost me in Florida. Tokyo is super cheap. But yes, fashion prices are the same as anywhere else. Already checked a store and they are selling for $1100 for the one I liked.

  13. US culture is the problem. Our culture is all about cheating and scamming and conning. Other countries respect private property and are much more civil. I have lived in countries where you can buy produce by leaving money in a box and taking the item. An honor system.

  15. The Crmbl trend already ended. In 2022 they had long lines n and high traffic from mobile orders. Now I don’t see any customers when I stop by to pick up orders.

  19. @pandaangry1267 That seems too pricy. lol. I’ll see if I can find a store to look at them somewhere in Tokyo. It better wow me before I drop $1k. Although $1k in 2024 is probably less than the $500 I spent in 2010. Im already tricking my mind into it 😂

  20. @pandaangry1267 Definitely not Shinjuku, but I’m only 30 minutes away and go there a lot. And in the context you can see that I’m looking for something that will last me 10+ years, so basically less than $100 a year. That is not bad at all. I’m retired and living around the world now. Was in Fort Walton Beach, but that area of Florida is backwards. So I moved to Japan. I also thought my entire life that Japan was expensive, but surprisingly cost of living is 50% cheaper than Florida. I moved from Solano County CA to Florida to save money, but nothing changed, lol. The Florida Panhandle was as expensive as California 😂

  28. Jollibee fried chicken definitely superior to all. I lived in Napa for 2 years and got spoiled having 3 Jollibees within an hour (Sacramento, Vallejo, Concord ) Also had in it the Philippines. KFC in the US is pure trash. Popeyes has good spicy chicken, so it’s different from Jollibee. Church’s Chicken is only good in Puerto Rico. The ones here in the USA taste like cardboard.

  31. I go on cruises specifically for the destinations on the itinerary. It allows you to experience multiple countries in one trip. Onboard amenities are secondary.
