  4. I moved from Florida to Japan in 2023. Best decision of my life. Quality of life is unmatched. Wife and I both military retired and cost of living is half of what we had in FL. Working on residency now because there is no going back to the USA. Japan culture fits my lifestyle perfectly.

  6.  @Vic-ok2pp  Osaka Station/Osaka-Umeda Station gives me a headache every time. I live in Tokyo prefecture and had the same issue in the beginning with Shinjuku.

  7.  @stephenross4333  Yes. Summers are brutal. This summer I limited my travels to the minimum. Only long trip I did was a 10-day cruise around Japan/Busan.

  8.  @Yasco-de-Jp  I lived in Wyoming for 6 years. It’s the complete opposite of Tokyo. 🤣🤣🤣 In my case It’s easy to avoid the crowds since I’m here retired. I learned very quick to avoid going out on local holidays.

  11.  @edmanetka9972  I’m becoming a resident, not a citizen. Got here on a Recreational Visa , which is good for 1 year. Looking into buying a new build home now. Not with mortgage because those are hard to get if you are not a citizen.
