  1.  @marshmallowcello7528  It doesn’t cancel out. US killed hundreds of thousands Filipinos, then decades later also gave asylum to the worst dictator in Philippines history. Point is that there is no need to pick sides. That’s a Western mindset of entrapment. Ukraine was doing good until they were forced to pick a side is 2011 by the USA. India is also neutral. Philippines is playing it well.

  3.  @marshmallowcello7528  It was decades ago. US actually fought a war against the Philippines and committed war crimes there. Chinese people have lived in the Philippines since before Spain arrived.

  5.  @paranoya733  The Western society mindset is programmed in a binary manner. People are indoctrinated into seeing everything in only 2 possible ways. It’s impossible for folks in the West to even consider a 3rd, 4th, 5th option to an issue.
