I'm just a regular person in Wyoming, and I knew about the corona virus in November 2019. Governments around the world downplayed and ignored it. Taiwan and Korea didn't.

We, the USA, had hundreds of people in Wuhan during the October 2019 to January 2020 timeframe. Many of those folks in Wuhan were evacuated on Jan 29,, and landed at several US Air Force bases around the US. On 30 Jan....WHO declared a Global Pandemic. I have close friends that treated these folks upon arrival to Lackland AFB, a place where I worked at for 10 years.

@joseph9423 I know....Wyoming doesn't exist. Which validates even more the original statement. I'm nowhere, and knew in November about corona.

@joseph9423 I did not say that at all. 1st case in the US was 21 January. I'm saying we knew about the situation in Wuhan from the very beginning. But maybe the Governments thought it would stay local, like a few other outbreaks in the past, and downplayed it.

@Wiers75q I agree. I myself got incredibly sick in November 2019, and my 3 daughters did too. We just thought it was the flu, took a lot of Sambuca Elderberry. Still don't know if it was covid because I've never been tested for it. But my 9 year old was tested when we were all sick....and the tests for influenza came back negative. So we were just given regular cold medicine.

@Cryin_Lion That it wasn't a surprise to anyone. Governments decided to ignore it, and here we are 15 months later.
