  6. It's not that the US is 3rd world. Like mentioned here before....the people are very very allergic to changes or progress. Very close minded mentality outside of the coastal cities.

  7. Should be full refund and all paid like in Europe. I once got a $2,500 credit for being bumped...for my family of 5. $500 per....which had to be used within a year, via the same airline. Next time we traveled....it was cheaper to fly with another airline even after considering the $2,500 credit with United. So we went with the other airline and the $2500 eventually expired.
