  3. Should be full refund and all paid like in Europe. I once got a $2,500 credit for being bumped...for my family of 5. $500 per....which had to be used within a year, via the same airline. Next time we traveled....it was cheaper to fly with another airline even after considering the $2,500 credit with United. So we went with the other airline and the $2500 eventually expired.
