People who live in the tropics have been using coconut oil and other coconut products for centuries as something common and not just a fad

@simplysue43 It's the same with coffee....people in the USA are all excited about the 3rd wave of coffee and now getting into the 4th wave. People in the tropics have been in the 4th wave of coffee for over 400 years...lol.

@wally6193 I lived in coffee growing countries for about 17 years combined. Zero spraying in those places. Drinking coffee from the same source that grew, picked, sun dried, toasted and brewed it. Its been that way for 400 years. I lived in Puerto Rico and in the Philippines.

@simplysue43 My grandmother also grew coffee in Puerto Rico. In the Philippines I lived in Batangas....right between Batangas City and Lipa. I was lucky to have fresh Barako every day....lol. Barako comes from the Liberica bean....a bean not known that much in the rest of the world. Arabica and Robusta are the common ones.

@wally6193 I'm surprised they didn't edit the person out completely....lol.

@wally6193 Yes...pretty much every big mass brand of coffee in the USA is extremely low quality coffee and sourced from mass producing crops. I was lucky to have lived in such places where coffee is grown for local consumption, and in the case of Puerto Rico, a quality of coffee only surpassed by Jamaican Blue Mountain in the entire world.
