100% I lived there for a year. During my first trips to Seoul, I remember leaving a 25% tip at a restaurant. A few minutes after I left, someone was chasing me down the mall. I thought I was in trouble. But it was the waitress chasing me down to return my money. Wow....I felt so bad. Lesson learned.

Tipping..... To subzidize the extreme low wages that companies provide....... Meanwhile CEO of such companies swim in their millions$$$$$$.

@nathansuka5302 No...I felt bad that I could've gotten the person in trouble. It was an upscale restaurant, and I had left a nice tip.......unaware of tipping policy.

True. $15 in CA .....still poverty. $15 in MS.....middle class.

@cmdr1911 I have worked in NY, TX, WY, CA. Pay pretty much adjusted at each place. Paycheck lasted longer in TX. Paycheck lasted the least in WY. NY and CA pay already accounts for the cost of living, so the impact is not that great on cost of living overall.
