Comments by "Dangic23" (@Dangic23) on "How Nespresso Is Taking On Keurig In The U.S. Coffee Pod Market" video.
Keurig will never work outside of the U.S. because people not in the U.S. have higher standards for their coffee .

These are 2 completely different coffees and consumer markets. One makes watered down mediocre coffee. The other tries to provide a product close to what a coffee shop offers.

I see no lies

I’ve had several machines from both of these companies and Nespresso is far superior than Keurig

That’s the Keurig recipe

Basic coffee maker will not work. Pour over does work. French press and mocha pot also great options.

I could always taste the melted plastic on kcups. Which is why dumped my machine in 2013.

@mariacheebandidos7183 Never. But it didn’t do well in Italy. Otherwise, outside of the US, Starbucks is like a status symbol. People buy Starbucks and post the cup logo as showing off. Definitely not done because of the coffee. lol. Now Japan is another story. Starbucks had to accommodate to the high Japan standards, so it’s very different from a Starbucks in the US. I moved to Japan 4 months ago, and even the McDonalds are absolutely good compared to ours in the US.

Why is the President of Keurig saying that they are not trying to provide high quality coffee? I think this interview will cost him his job.

I had a Keurig machine and could clearly taste the plastic in my coffee. This was a new 2015 machine and using Keurig official pods. Tried other brands and it was the same. I threw away the machine after a month.
