  1. China got tired of taking in our trash. Our recycling program has been a hoax for a long time. People thought it was being processed here in the USA.

  2.  @1982MCI  Wow....lol I'm a Democrat just by typing that our "recyclables" end up in trash piles in South East Asia? I have no idea what recycling has to do with political parties. Of course there is some recycling going on in the USA. But most was shipped overseas......and when China closed the doors......our trash ended up on clandestine piles across SE Asia. Some journalists have put tracking devices on recycled materials.....and have found them in Malaysia.....just one example. And yes....I understand we do a terrible job in the USA sorting the material and contaminate the recyclables. I lived in Germany....and was used to that system. When I moved to the USA, I was in shock about how almost non existent recycling was.
