  1. Opening a Starbucks in Vietnam is similar to opening a Blockbuster Video store in the US in 2020. Vietnam coffee culture is like 200 years ahead of US coffee culture. Starbucks copied cold coffee from Vietnam.

  3. Vietnam and coffee producing countries are 4th wave coffee by default. This USA numbering waves of coffee only applies to USA....which will never reach 4th wave, since the purest way of drinking coffee is non imported. Only Hawaii and the colony of Puerto Rico are 4th wave coffee places in the USA.

  4. Easy answer.... Vietnam is a coffee producing country and have been on the 4th wave of coffee for over 200 years. The US is barely in 3rd wave.....so a Starbucks in any coffee country is like moving backwards......like opening a brand new Blockbuster video in 2020 anywhere in the US.
