Airborne delivery drones are a dystopian nightmare if you think about it. Thousands and thousands of drones whirring in the sky 24/7/365 will not only create an incredible amount of noise and visual pollution, but will also disrupt the flight patterns of birds. Do we really need our packages so badly that we'd submit to that?

My cat can sense when I'm thinking about opening a can of cat food.

This cure isn't for us, it's for the One Percenters.

For the cost of one human crew mission, we could send 100 robotic missions. Robots are the way to go.

What if Venus gave rise to an intelligent species that created an Industrial Revolution that resulted in a runaway greenhouse effect?

I'm more interested in the even more obscure astronomical phenomenon known as the Van Allen Suspenders.

See, this is why non-Americans just don't "get" The Wizard of Oz.

Ironically, Perot made it possible for Clinton to take the election and pass NAFTA, which Perot correctly predicted would destroy the American middle class. Bush Senior never could've gotten the treaty passed.

Joe--"habits"? "Habitats" my friend. "Habitats".

Evolution made us born to age and die for a reason. Just because we can do something, doesn't mean we should. We could build nuclear weapons, so we did. How is that working out for us?

Read Isaac Asimov's The Naked Sun to see what happens when we lose the tribe. The Metaverse is a dystopia and a dead-end.

No, we don't. Human solipsism is laughable compared to the vastness of the cosmos.

Do you like gladiator movies?

Now do sharknadoes.

Don't get my hopes up.

Bad idea. The cure will only be available to the One Percenters and we're already having a problem with them hanging onto power too long. Do you really want Donald Trump and Joe Biden living to be three hundred? If you haven't lived your life by the time you're seventy, then you've wasted it. But the future is already written, it seems: short-lived proles ruled over by an ageless aristocracy. It's the stuff of nightmares.

I'm disappointed that this Joe didn't discuss a monarch who rules by divine right. Because I'm willing to take the job for the good of the country. I promise to reward the just and smite the wicked. Make me your king, and by nightfall, heads will roll like bowling balls on League Night.
