  1. George Carlin got angrier as he got older, but channeled that rage into first-rate comedy. Carlin was at the top of his game when he died. It was amazing to watch him not fade away as he got into his 60s, but blossom.

  2. Dennis Miller was funny a long time ago. But then he became this obsessive hater and you could see his mind closing. His comedy disappeared as he became a shrill shill for Bush II's murderous foreign policy. But he was always always ALWAYS a smug piece of work. I don't miss him.
