  1. Kal-El, the Last Son of Krypton, knows he's the only one who can save the world, and that's all he needs to know. His own life means nothing. Superman never hesitates to do the right thing, at least not the Superman I know and love: his sense of always knowing the right thing to do is what makes him the superhero.
