  1. I live on the liberal Westside of Los Angeles, same as Jimmy. All of the liberals around me are saying we have to go into Syria for HUMANITARIAN REASONS. WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN! I'm not a liberal. I'm an international socialist, which means, among other things, that I value the lives of Syrian children as much as I do those of the children in my neighborhood. The US Air Force has killed many innocent civilians both by accident and through a total disregard of where our missiles and bombs are going. But somehow these bombings are for "humanitarian" reasons. It's truly sick and twisted logic to believe that you have to bomb a country to save it.

  2. When the once invincible Roman Empire crumbled and fell, the barbarians that the Romans had once conquered and terrorized showed no mercy to their former tormentors. This, of course, has no relationship to anything that may happen to us Americans in the future, because everybody knows we're the good guys.
