  1. They're cowards. It's ok to be afraid. As John Wayne once said, "Courage isn't not being afraid--it's being afraid and saddling up anyway." These cowboys are all hat and no cattle. And no guts, either. Just plain yellow is all. I don't need a complicated explanation for this. Cop culture for decades has emphasized two things: 1. The police have no legal duty to protect citizens' lives 2. The police's paramount duty is OFFICER SAFETY (saving their own miserable hides). This is the result. Everybody is shocked the cops saved their own necks while letting those kids die. I'm not. This is an extreme example, but it's far from the only one.
    2
