  1. I have Muslim neighbors and have worked with many Muslim colleagues and students. None of them have "liberal" political views and are ardently opposed to LGBTQ rights and feminism. Yet you never hear LGBTQ activists or feminists criticize Muslims in either the US or abroad, where both gay people and women are far more oppressed than the United States. It's as if this very real and blatant oppression doesn't exist for them.
