  1. We live in a police state, where policemen don't enforce the law, they ARE the law. Whatever the police do is either approved before or after the fact, but they can do no wrong. This cop didn't shoot an unarmed person in the back or murder a child, but he could've, and his punishment would've been less. LESS. Call that what you will, but that is not a democracy and not a society in which I want to live.
