  1. I've seen this movie before. The Republicans passed a huge tax cut for the rich under Bush II. People got mad about that, among other things, and voted in a Democrat (Obama). Obama and the Democrats controlled the White House and both houses of Congress. And what did Obama and the Democrats do? VOTED TO MAKE THE REPUBLICAN TAX CUTS PERMANENT INSTEAD OF LETTING THEM EXPIRE. And here we are again.
