  1. One of my high school friends had a dad who worked on the railroad. His dad was frequently injured because it's hazardous, difficult work that has to be performed outdoors in all kinds of weather and has to be done quickly. That same friend had an older brother who went to work on the railroads and the brother got crushed when they were hooking up freight cars.
