  1. Hillary Clinton does represent a particular type of feminism: it's corporate feminism in which well-educated, wealthy women aspire to be powerful government and corporate officials. That sub-type of feminism leaves most people (men and women) cold.

I searched my heart and here's my answer: I will vote for anyone I believe will actually deliver on the promise of universal health care, stopping the Drug Wars, fighting against big money in politics and halting our wars of empire around the world. I do not care if that person is female, male, white, black, Asian, Latino, Muslim, atheist, Jewish, Christian...I don't care for "identity" politics at all and even less for tokenism. I was a bit offended when Clinton claimed we HAD to vote for her because she's a woman and it's time for a female president. We had a black President and the lot of black Americans is worse now than it was when he took office. Obama didn't identify with the color of his own skin, but rather with the social class (the oligarch) that he wants to be part of. The one identification that's important to me is CLASS interest.
