I looked at the Chrysler Pacifica but guess what...the recalls are piling up and owner are trading them in after a year of ownership because of reliabiilty issues. That leaves the Kia Sedona as the best combo of price and cost of ownership. Too bad Chrysler can't figure out how to build a reliable vehicle.

wait 2-3 years and get a certified preowned for $25,000.

I'd never buy one of these for one reason: not reliable. Great design but a lot of owners complain that they have mechanical problems right off the bat. The Pacifica also loses 50% of its resale value after just 3 years.

There's something different about Alex in this video but I can't quite put my finger on it. New haircut?

0-60 in 9.4 seconds? For real?

I wouldn't buy a Dodge Durango, though. Rock-bottom in reliability and quality. Hyundai Palisade or Kia Telluride would get 'er done.

If I had a Kia Sedona and wanted to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall, I'd buy a utility trailer for $500-$700 and just tow it. Towing capacity for the Sedona is 3,500 pounds, which would tow a light trailer like that and all of the stuff you could load onto the trailer. If you get to the point where you're not hauling big stuff like that, just sell the trailer.

Certified preowned. You can get a nearly new one with a long warranty for 15k and get more of the options that way.

My sole concern about any Nissan is reliability. I owned a Nissan once in the 1980s and it literally fell apart after six years. As in, parts of it fell off in the middle of the road.

Major design flaw. Nissan needs to offer a cargo false floor that could be put over that subwoofer when you have cargo to load (at the very least).

The Kona is so God awful ugly and that color shouldn't be legal for any car.

Nissan has a patented "zero gravity" seat that is super-comfortable on long drives. I rented a Nissan Rogue from Hertz and my butt was very happy.

Electric vehicles will never become the cars of the masses until their single-charge range equals or exceeds 600 miles. Most people aren't going to drive 600 miles but they're going to demand the option. And of course all gas stations will have to have fast chargers.

Are you going to keep the vehicle for more than 5 years? Toyota RAV4 because the build quality means the Toyota will last 20 years at least. If you trade in cars as soon as the warranty runs out? Nissan Rogue.

Alex has said in other videos that he's six feet tall.
