  4. I'm in the KC area. Local Mazda dealer's lot was full. Sales time, right? Naw. He just bought another empty lot and parked the excess inventory there. Still marking up way over MSRP and the sales people get hostile if you try to wiggle them down even a couple of thousand. Greed does, indeed, make you stupid.

  6.  @EMichaelBall  US is going to need a massive upgrade to the electrical grid to charge all these cars. How much will that cost? According to studies, over $1 trillion. No money has been allocated for it. When are we going to get started on it? According to studies, we should've started 10 years ago. No work has been planned nor implemented. This past summer, Governor Newsom of California was asking people NOT to charge their electric cars during peak hours.
