I was thinking of buying a Kia Soul for 24k Dealer marked it up to 38K So I'll just keep driving my old car (2009 Hyundai Sonata, well-maintained) until it drops or I do How are we all going to afford the electric cars the government is demanding we drive instead of gasoline fueled vehicles? Not their problem, I guess.

  2. Try to actually buy one. The dealers are marking them up 15k-25k above MRSP.

  3.  @EMichaelBall  US is going to need a massive upgrade to the electrical grid to charge all these cars. How much will that cost? According to studies, over $1 trillion. No money has been allocated for it. When are we going to get started on it? According to studies, we should've started 10 years ago. No work has been planned nor implemented. This past summer, Governor Newsom of California was asking people NOT to charge their electric cars during peak hours.
