  1. It depends on the recipe. For garlic bread, not that big a difference--when the garlic is part of the flavor and not the primary flavor, fresh is king.

  2. This video makes one big mistake: it focuses solely on the taste of the garlic and not its smell. In most dishes in which garlic is integral, the smell of garlic is as important as the taste of it.
