Casual dating and hookup culture hurts both men and women--at least a certain kind of man, who wants a wife, kids, a home. That's often no longer available to us. It's not a choice we have. When I was younger, I wanted that. I don't want it now, but for years I did. I eventually gave up, but there are guys in their twenties and thirties who DO want to marry and settle down. And they can't, because of hookup culture and the huge number of hypergamous women in our society. I feel sorry for these young men, I really do.

I visited her TikTok. I had a little sympathy for her plight until I did that. Now I have none. Worst thing in the world you can do is lie to yourself.

@briandam8126 She was big stuff in her podunk hometown, then got to LA and got hit hard with the fact that she's competing with 1 million women younger and hotter than her. I saw some of her TikTok videos. Makeup is doing a lot of heavy lifting for Camille's looks.

@Ninakittyy Most men don't dream of a "submissive housewife", we want a partner who is able to give and receive love and respect, instead of treating us with contempt.

@Adrian-qr6gk I'm old enough to have experienced dating pre-internet. You met a woman at school or work, you talked, your competition was the other guys in that environment, not 10,000 dudes love bombing her on the internet. As Joker's pointed out, that kind of false worship (simping) has driven women nuts. The only way to fix this crazy system is for men to refuse to participate in--women will have to change the dating culture before we can participate in it. Maybe that'll come before it's too late for the younger guys. Or we can all immigrate to the Philippines, which still has the traditional male-female relationship.

I lived in LA for over 20 years and dating is the worst there because the women are so materialistic. It's hypergamy on steroids. Every date felt like a job interview. Worse, I was asked (without exception) what kind of car I drove on every first date. Every one. Men's #1 complaint in the LA dating market? All their dates care about is money. Women's #1 complaint in the LA dating market? They can't find any men with money.

Visit Camille's TikTok and any sympathy you have for her plight will quickly vanish. It's all the fault of capitalism and the patriarchy. She also defends herself from accusations of being overly materialistic by dunking on "broke men" and emphasizing how important lots of money is to be happy. Also, she's NOT moving out of LA! The answer? "Men need to do better!" You hear that, men? DO BETTER!

Camille moved to LA to start a modeling career in her thirties? That's some questionable judgment right there. The shelf life of any model isn't long.

@michaelbuick6995 What I'm saying is that's fine if it's a choice, but right now it's not really a choice, is it? Younger men should be able to choose what kind of life they want, instead of being forced into it. But nobody gives a flying fuck about men. We're just a pack of dumb animals with our "toxic masculinity".
13
She doesn't have a choice, though. Her career was her only realistic option at this point, so she's pretending that she chose it when, in fact, her own behavior eliminated alternatives.
12
She's a pretty lady and if she has a good personality etc could get someone, but not the Prince Charming she wants. He has to be 6'4" with movie star looks and a millionaire bank account and nothing less will do. She didn't really have an epiphany. She had a brief flash of reality and then pushed it aside. She's learning nothing from this except the world is a mean old place for some unknown reason.

@seanscon Christmas decorations are 50% off on December 26th.

I watched a few of her TikTok videos. She doesn't strike me as a nice person at all, more like vain, materialistic, judgmental, and mean-spirited. I wonder why she's alone?🤔
7
@thebiglemimski5805 The woman in that video is NOT wife material. She wants to be served. She doesn't want a partnership.
6
@Gnashercide Her username is shown on her TikTok video. I can't link to it because Big Mommy YouTube sucks.
6
@GasparSilva Women canceled the contract for sure.
5
@junc2191 I'm too old for it. A man gets to a certain age and he just wants to be let alone.
4
I wouldn't trust her to be faithful.
4
@nicci5285 In this no-win deal, men do get the better of the bargain, but who wants the bigger half of a shit sandwich?
3
@nicci5285 Camille is actually a very typical LA Woman. Trust me.
3
@jimmycampbell78 They're delusional and only listen to each other, instead of listening to men and observing reality.
3
You realize you're above average height in Thailand and the Philippines, right?

@StevenSiew2 "Lived" is past tense. Wish I'd listened to the people who told me to get the hell out of there a long time ago. I waited too long.

Phase One: Women demand something. Phase Two: Women get exactly what they demanded. Phase Three: Women complain that they were misled and that the thing they demanded turns out to be a crock of shit. Phase Four: Women demand that MEN do SOMETHING to FIX THIS PROBLEM because women have rights and men have responsibilities.

@danielcraig9666 And it's leaking like a sieve.
2
@ClockworkWyrm Congratulations, you found a needle in a haystack.
2
Her TikTok has Future OnlyFans Model written ALL over it.
2
I used to live in the same apartment building as a model. She was unrecognizable without makeup.

Camille lives in LA. She wants a guy with a LOT higher income than that. She wasn't there for the race, but she's waiting for him at the finish line.
2
@Gamechangerr667 I declined all my Nobel Prizes. It's what I CHOSE :goodvibes:
1
Her personality needs work.
1
That's not the plan. The plan is to find a rich guy to knock them up and then bail with a fat child support check (guaranteed income for 18 years) and half his stuff. Women like Camille aren't in it for the long haul.
1
It's her narcissism that makes her unsuitable. To quote from the movie "Bus Stop": "I like you the way you are. I don't care how you got that way." But I don't want to be married to a spoiled, selfish adult child. Been there, done that.
1
As someone who dated in LA for 20 years, I will confirm. An ordinary guy isn't enough for them.
1
Believe her name is Camille, not Kamala, but otherwise you got it.
1
They're easy to tell apart, though. The gold diggers/players tell you up front who they are. Camille certainly does that in her TikTok videos. The best girlfriend I had post-divorce used to argue against us going out to eat: she wanted to cook at home because it was cheaper. She wasn't with me for money and didn't treat me like an ATM. And no, she wasn't an American.
1
Go watch a few of her TikTok videos and you'll find out why she's single.
1
Too late for that
1
At least you'll have some peace and quiet.
