  1. This is really driven by economics. One of my buddies works as an advertising executive and a lot of white, middle class women don't watch the NFL and hate it when their men watch it. That soccer mom demographic is a coveted one in advertising. This pandering is their attempt to get soccer moms to watch NFL games and to let their husbands watch them. It won't work. I know women who love watching football and can talk trades and plays as good as, or better than, any man. But they are, and always will be, a minority. Most women don't "get" football and they don't NEED to. When my dad and our neighbor and I watched the games, my mom and my sisters would take the opportunity to go shopping. The guys did their thing and the women did their thing, and we were both happy. If my mom or my sisters had shown any interest in the game, my dad would've been happy for them to join us. I remember my younger sister trying to watch a game and didn't make it through the first quarter: "This game is STUPID." And that was that. NFL football appeals primarily to men. Always has, always will. All this pandering is transparent and counterproductive.

  2. I apprenticed to a bricklayer one summer, learned a lot from that bad-tempered old fart. Women don't have the upper body strength to be a bricklayer. I know, I know, it's misogynistic to point out that men and women are biologically different.

  4. I have a solution to the NFL quandry: qualified men who aspire to coach in the NFL should declare themselves female. They'll get the jobs because you are whatever gender you declare yourself to be. Joker needs to get on on a 5-2 intermittent fasting keto lifestyle. He'd lose that weight fast. My sister (a registered nurse) recommended it and was she ever right. 32 pounds lost in 3 months.

  8. My mom kept our family going by being a stay at home mom. Kept the house clean, fresh baked cookies and hugs when we got home from school, everything taken care of so my dad could relax when he got off work. If that choice works for them, women should have it and be praised for their role.
